First on the list? St. Simons Island Trail System is a favorite local treasure that provides a beautiful blend of nature, history, and easy outdoor recreation. The shaded scenic trails make for a peaceful, low-impact biking experience that’s perfect for enjoying at your own pace.

Celebrate Independence Day at the Sunshine Festival

Bring back classic childhood memories at this island-wide festival! There will be arts and crafts vendors, a golf cart parade, a 5K race, and of course, fireworks. Every year, we swear it was better than the last, so we know that this year’s is one we surely don’t want to miss!

Mini Golf at Neptune Park

This family-friendly course is perfectly located in the shade, so we can get outdoors to play while staying cool. It features 18 holes for us to putt around, whether engaging in some friendly competition with friends or working on our skills. This destination makes for a great outing with the grandkids, too!
