2025 Silver Pen Winners

Marsh’s Edge is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Silver Pen Competition. On May 2nd 2025, Marsh’s Edge hosted the two winners and their friends and families for an awards dinner. There, they were presented with $3,750 cash prizes. The essay topic for 2025 was as follows:

Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. How has this improved your life?

Marsh’s Edge Members who made up the judging panel also selected the essay topic. The Silver Pen Writing Competition is an essay competition that Marsh’s Edge’s parent company, The Maxwell Group, started in 2012 to bridge the communication gap between high school seniors and community Members. Each participant submitted a written essay with a minimum of 1,000 words. Over the past eleven years, they have award these scholarships to high school seniors to help differ tuition cost.
