On April 29th, Marsh’s Edge awarded three scholarships to applicants in the St. Simons Islanda area. Winners were invited to join Members for a ceremony dinner to receive their awards. The Silver Pen Competition has been hosted by Marsh’s Edge’s parent company, The Maxwell Group, since 2012.

On Friday our Members enjoyed a special ‘Chefs Table’ lunch with Chef Jayson! He cooked up homemade pappardelle pasta with Sapelo Island clams and wild Georgia shrimp with sautéed spinach and roasted tomatoes in a white wine butter garlic reduction sauce!

Yesterday, our Members and some staff received the 2nd COVID-19 Vaccination (and we had some first rounds administered as well!). Members who attended got to take home a fun little goodie bag, pins saying “I’m vaccinated” and their completed vaccination cards!

Apply Now Marsh’s Edge has begun accepting applications for their annual Silver Pen Writing Competition. Every year, this writing competition awards three local high school seniors with scholarships ranging from $500 to $2,500. The deadline to apply is February 12th, 2021.
